Engaging, to the Point And Fun

Join us in a straight, to the point vehicle recovery workshop. Our instructors will cover various types of recovery equipment, self recovery techniques, safety, working load limits, best practices, winch operations, common trail challenges and more. Our instructors have a wide variety of offroading experience and each has their own strength.

Best in the Region

775 Offroad and Recovery is the leading vehicle recovery organization in Northern Nevada and is recognized by multiple tow operators, search and rescue teams, law enforcement and federal land managers.

Dedicated to Excellence

Our instructors strive to provide the most relevant information to the offroad community and constantly develop new methods to recover vehicles in challenging situations. Every person in the organization is an unpaid volunteer. 775 Offroad and Recovery is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

“I can’t say enough good things about this training! I was a total newbie and these guys make learning fun and easy! The atmosphere is super comfortable and I didn’t feel out of place or pressured! Now …I’ve assisted in several recoveries and am confident in my skill set all because I took their training. I highly recommend this class 🤩

“A very fun and informative hands-on training for every person who wants to be more self sufficient offroad.”

I didn’t know what I didn’t know. The class was great and Paul is a fantastic instructor. I’m happy I took the workshop.

Eye Opening!

I had so many takeaways. All of my questions were answered and I am much more confident in my ability to use the equipment correctly.

What to Expect

The workshop is conducted in Stagecoach, NV unless otherwise stated. It is an outdoor environment on soft dirt that isn’t maintained. There is no shade available in our ‘Sandbox’ but feel free to bring your own. We recommend sunscreen and a hat year round. There is a lecture portion at the beginning of the class that takes 2-3 hours depending on questions. The rest of the time is hands on application.

If you are a 775OFR member and volunteer, this workshop takes place of the video series and skill assessment. Our members get this class at a discount. Email us with any questions to inquiries@775ofr.com. Please do not call our hotline about our workshops.

“Our organization’s primary goal is to ensure everyone returns home safely to their family and friends at the end of the day on the trail. This goal is achieved via active education and outreach prior to heading out on the trail, on-trail education and skills practice, followed by a safety net in the event something goes wrong while out on the trail. An educated and safe community of offroaders will enhance the trail experience of all users.”
